Josh attended Trinity from 1996 until his graduation in 2001, and was inducted into the School’s Gallery of Achievement in 2017. He commenced his AFL career at North Melbourne in 2004, and was quickly promoted to their senior list. At the end of the 2009 season, he joined Hawthorn, where he played in three Premierships and won two club Best & Fairest medals. After 225 games, he retired at the end of the 2017 season.
Since leaving the AFL, Josh has excelled in his media pursuits. He has appeared as a guest on The Footy Show, Before the Game and AFL Game Day. He has also been a regular contributor on GoldFM, as well as appearing on Channel 10’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! He is currently a co-host of Channel 10’s revamped Sports Tonight, and has been lauded for his ability to engage and accurately report across several sporting codes.
Josh is Myer’s official ambassador, and was a Melbourne Festival of Racing Ambassador in 2016. He is an owner and director of Be Fit - a new gym chain.
The Cathedral Range is a simple two hours’ drive from Melbourne. All current and past members of the Trinity family are welcome.
As per the successful Mt Langhi Ghiran trip, we plan to have a base camp and do one of several possible day walks on the Saturday. The main walk will be the iconic Southern Circuit (10.5km 5hrs) or, for those prefer a gentle amble, the Little River track (flat,1 hr), Friends Nature Trail or sit by the fire/river.
We camp at Ned’s Gully on the Friday and Saturday nights. It is a picturesque site with plenty of room, good camping and fire-pits (BYO wood).
Please join us for both nights or just one night. If the previous base-camp is any indication, Saturday night will be a feast. Last time everyone over-catered and shared excellent food (the advantage of a base camp).
If you are (or might be) interested in attending, please register your interest www.trybooking.com/au/event/474477. We will make contact with you four weeks before and let you know the finer details, including who will be attending.
This walk is open to all OTGs. Last time we had OTGs from ’79 to ’94 and this time we have received interest from recent leavers.

Trinity Grammar School will be commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the birth of Leonard Bernstein with a choral concert featuring a performance of the Chichester Psalms.
The Chichester Psalms is a work in three movements for mixed choir, orchestra and boy soprano soloist, sung in Hebrew. We are excited by the opportunity perform this wonderfully joyous work, that was originally commissioned for the 1965 Chichester Festival. The central message of the work, and the linchpin of Bernstein’s philosophy of life is a thought which we all must hold dear:
Behold how good,
And how pleasant it is,
For brethren to dwell
Together in unity.
Chichester Psalms will feature The Bernstein Choir, comprised of The Trinity Junior and Senior Choirs, St Paul's Cathedral Choir and members of the wider Trinity Community, including staff, Old Grammarians and family. The concert will also feature performances from each of the Trinity Grammar School choirs.
