/Philip Wise (1971-76) has been living in South Florida for over 10 years. His latest enterprise is opening a home inspection business. Philip would love to connect with any Old Boys who visit his part of the world.
James Ross (1997-03) is competing in the Kettlebell Sport World Championships which will be held in Russia this October. James is the founding owner and head coach of the Richmond Gym.
David Constantinou (1994-02) and his wife Olivia have welcomed their second child, Lulu, a sister for Archie.
Congratulations to Matthew Brown (2003-08) who has been appointed the MCC Men’s First XI Captain for the 2016/17 season.
Robbie Gillies (2004-08) has been nominated for the 2016 Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World awards (the only Australian) in the category of humanitarian and/or voluntary leadership for his work in creating a more inclusive society. Robbie will complete his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (Hons) later this year.
Alex Paterson (1993-2005) has announced his engagement to Makayla whom he met at the Victorian Interschool Ski Championships at Mt Buller during Year 12 in 2005.
James Baumgartner (2008-13) is completing his training and will soon carry out his first flight with Jetstar as the 2nd Officer on the International 787 Dreamliner.
Sam Hodges (2003-08) is now working for Nike Pacific as an e-commerce specialist. He has been seconded to the Nike Head Office in Portland, Oregon and will leave for America later this year.
Peter Beer (1967-76) is now back in Australia after many years working in Hong Kong and China.
Martyn Saunders (1968-76) has had a sea change and is living on his three acres in Yanakie near Wilson’s Promontory.
Nick Fletcher (1996-01) and his wife Prue have announced the safe arrival of their beautiful baby girl, Isla.
Christopher Weinberg (2003-09) is studying at Boston College for the Fall semester to complete his Master of Teaching and is also taking in the US Presidential election campaign.
Congratulations to 2013 OTGs Neil Kemister (2003-13) and Liam McCoppin (2001-13). The Australian Quidditch team, aka the Dropbears, won the Quidditch World Cup in Frankfurt, Germany in July 2016. Neil plays seeker and Liam is an assistant coach. Both were part of the successful Australian team who beat more than 20 other countries. After six months of selection and training camps, the Dropbears defeated strong favourites USA 150* - 130 in the Final to take home the Gold Medal. N.B.
